Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of any personal data Elmob.ai has collected about you, including data we received through connected integrations such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, Stripe, and Twilio. This page explains how to make that request and what to expect.

1. Who Can Request Deletion

Account holders: Anyone who has signed up for an Elmob.ai account.
Connected platform users: Anyone whose Facebook, Instagram, or Google data flowed into our system because a business owner authorized our app to access a Page or account they manage.
Customers of our customers: If a business uses Elmob.ai to manage messages, leads, or bookings, the end customer may request that the business delete their record. We will assist in fulfilling that request.
Authorized representatives: A parent, guardian, or legal representative acting on behalf of an eligible person.

2. How to Request Deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the following so we can identify your records:

Your full name
The email address associated with your Elmob.ai account (if any)
The Facebook user ID, Page ID, Instagram username, or other identifier of the data you want deleted (if applicable)
A brief description of the data you want removed (e.g., "all data from my connected Facebook Page", "my Messenger conversation history", "my entire Elmob.ai account")

We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request. This is to protect you against unauthorized deletion requests.

3. Deleting Data From Inside the Platform

If you have an active Elmob.ai account, you can also delete most data yourself without contacting us:

Disconnect an integration: Settings → Integrations → Disconnect. This stops new data from flowing in. Previously synced data is removed within 30 days unless you ask us to keep it.
Delete individual records: Open the lead, conversation, or message and use the delete action. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Close your account: Settings → Account → Close Account. All account data is purged within 90 days of closure, except records we are legally required to retain (e.g., billing records under tax law).

4. Facebook and Instagram Data Specifically

If you previously authorized Elmob.ai to access a Facebook Page or Instagram Business Account and want that data removed:

Revoke the app on Meta's side first: Visit facebook.com/settings → Business Integrations, find Elmob AI, and click Remove. This invalidates our access tokens immediately.
Send us a deletion request: Email [email protected] with the subject "Meta Data Deletion" and include the Facebook Page name or ID. We will permanently delete all messages, page metadata, lead records, and conversation history associated with that Page from our systems within 30 days.
Confirmation: We will reply with a confirmation email and a tracking code once deletion is complete.

5. What Gets Deleted

When we process a deletion request, the following are permanently removed from our production systems:

Account profile, contact info, and authentication data
OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for connected services
Messages received via Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs
Page metadata, post engagement data, and ad performance data we synced
Leads, conversations, call recordings, and transcripts
AI-generated content tied to your account
Billing identifiers (Stripe customer ID is detached)

6. What We May Retain

We retain the minimum necessary data to comply with law, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud:

Billing and tax records, for the period required by Nevada and U.S. federal law (typically 7 years)
Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that no longer identify you
Audit log entries needed to demonstrate compliance with the deletion request itself
Backups, which are rotated and overwritten on a 30-day cycle. Your data will not be restored from backup after deletion.

7. Timeframe

We acknowledge every deletion request within 72 hours.
Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification.
Backups are fully overwritten within 60 days from request.
We will notify you by email once deletion is complete.

8. Your Other Privacy Rights

Deletion is one of several rights you have. You can also request access to, correction of, or a portable export of your data. Details and additional rights for California (CCPA), Nevada, and EU/EEA (GDPR) residents are described in our Privacy Policy.
